How do you program a robot? How do you make gummy bears? How does a DNA analysis help track down criminals? Exciting experiments await school classes and kindergarten groups in eight fully equipped labs. Over 50 different lab courses for children of all ages address topics found in the school curriculum prescribed by Baden-Wurttemberg and present phenomena from the fields of biology, chemistry, physics and computer science in a way that is both fun and interactive. Everything from frying pans and pots to 3D food printers are used in the experiment kitchen. There is also much for adults to discover - for example, the secrets of molecular gastronomy. The student research center also supports young scientists actively with their first scientific endeavors.
