‘A festival on the moon? Sounds strange, but that’s exactly the idea that Moonbreaker 2121 takes up. The story begins in 2020 with the bizarre planning of the impossible moon festival. The eccentric festival director Vinko Sauerstrom takes care of the details. For example, he thinks about how supplies could work on the moon: Is it possible to feed on sound?
Moonbreaker is all about sounds and the question of the music of the future. The digital artwork is reminiscent of an audio book, but goes one step further. It combines sound experiments, music and unique, surreal visual worlds in 360-degree projections.’

In ‘Beyond Chaos’, we take you into this often hidden world. Together with the American music pioneer Michael Stearns, the Dutch fractal artist Julius Horsthuis and the German YouTuber Susanne Scherer, we have developed an extraordinary show. Every first and third Thursday of the month, we travel to the limits of what is currently observable and back. At SpaceNight, we first show the 3D planetarium show ‘VAST – a cosmic journey through space and time’. This will be followed by a 15-minute live presentation on further breathtaking discoveries and give us a sense of orientation in space – with its unimaginable expanse. An evening for all those who want to explore space and learn more about our place in the universe. There is still so much to discover.
