Booking

We recommend booking tickets online in advance. Tickets can also be purchased on site only if still available. Information on the expected capacity of experimenta and thus the availability of tickets can be found at the top of the homepage. Show the ticket to our staff on your smartphone when you arrive or bring a printout with you. Admission to the special exhibition is included in the price of the experimenta ticket. Tickets for the special exhibition ONLY can be purchased by phone, email or on site.

Visit

Your health and that of our staff is very important to us. Therefore, please pay attention to the current Corona measures when you visit us.

For the visit of the experimenta applies:

  • Contact restrictions or person limits are generally no longer envisaged. In order to continue to guarantee a high quality of stay under pandemic conditions, experimenta limits the maximum number of visitors to currently 1,000 people. The maximum capacity in the Science Dome is currently 100 people.
  • The exclusive online booking system that has applied up to now will be ended. Tickets can again be purchased directly on site at the experimenta ticket office. However, we still recommend booking in advance via the webshop to be sure of getting tickets. For better orientation, a three-level “traffic light system” on the website will show experimenta’s capacity on the current day as well as for the following two days.
  • The mask requirement does not apply to visits to experimenta. However, due to the current pandemic situation, we still strongly recommend that our guests use medical masks or FFP2 masks.
  • Access restrictions according to vaccination or convalescent status (3G etc.) will no longer apply. Everyone will have access to experimenta again from 3 April – regardless of their immunisation status, which will no longer be checked.

All hygiene instructions can be found here: Hygiene instructions
