Payment in the web shop is only possible via PayPal.
Booking
We recommend booking tickets online in advance. Tickets can also be purchased on site only if still available. Information on the expected capacity of experimenta and thus the availability of tickets can be found at the top of the homepage. Show the ticket to our staff on your smartphone when you arrive or bring a printout with you. Admission to the special exhibition is included in the price of the experimenta ticket.

experimenta is a partner of bwegtPlus. We grant visitors who arrive with a current bwtarif ticket, school holiday ticket, D-Ticket JugendBW or Deutschland-Ticket a 10 % discount on all ticket categories (except annual tickets). Please present your public transport ticket at the experimenta ticket office.
Save on Fridays: On Fridays, tickets for the exhibition and Science Dome cost only 50 percent of the regular price. Excluded are laboratory courses, children’s birthday parties and events. Combination with other rebates is not possible.

- 1 Reduced: Children and teens between 3 and 18 years of age; with ID: trainees/apprentices, voluntary social year, military or federal voluntary service, students, family passport holders, disabled persons, social welfare recipients
- 2 Small group (family): up to 5 persons, max. 2 adults
- 3 experimenta ticket: Exhibition, Studio as well as special exhibition, experimental theater, observatory as available
- 4 Science Dome: special rates apply for Science Dome special events
- 5 Annual Pass: Includes unlimited access to Science Dome shows
- Free admission: Children up to and including 2 years of age; teachers and educators with an annual educational pass or as supervising educators; upon presentation of proof: birthday children, accompanying persons for people with severe disabilities, bus drivers of tour groups
- Please note that the price of admission and opening hours may vary due to the current situation and for our special events.

A gift voucher for experimenta is the perfect gift for young and old alike! Gift cards can be purchased in the ticket shop or at the ticket office during our opening hours. Alternatively, you can send an email to info@experimenta.science and we will send you the payment details. Once you have transferred the corresponding amount, you will receive the gift card by mail.
The gift card can be redeemed in the webshop (field “Gift card” for the code available) and in experimenta at the cash desks.
