Michaela – Information Technology

Following my studies in Business Informatics specializing in Application Management at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Mosbach, I worked at a commercial enterprise in the region in IT before switching to experimenta. I got my first introduction to experimenta in December 2010 while working part time as a guide while going to college.

In April 2016, I got a full-time job in the IT department. I am in charge of applications like the ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning System) and the ticket and cash desks or our EMS system (Element Management System or Network Management Software).

An exciting time but one during which there was a lot to do was the period after the first experimenta closed. It was a long time until the opening day of the new experimenta in 2019 and we had a lot to do designing processes and sequences. I can still remember how we waited for the first visitors on opening day and hoped that everything would go as planned.

experimenta is very creative and diverse just like our exhibition and interactive stations. There are new challenges every day and consequently you are also always challenged. The good working climate tops it all off.
