The world is full of questions – and you’ll find the answers here. Can you recognise your own phantom image? When does steel break? How well can computers understand emotions? At experimenta, you can get to the bottom of things yourself. Science and technology can be experienced by everyone. In our exhibition you will get to know yourself and the world better – whether you are three or 103 years old.

In a unique combination of planetarium and theater, in our Science Dome, you travel virtually to unknown places. Or you experience how exciting science can be in our experimental shows. In well-equipped labs, you conduct your own experiments and turn your ideas into reality in the Maker Space.

experimenta opens at 2 p.m.
For the seventh Discovery Day, we have invited guests who speak different languages. They will experience the experimenta in a protected setting. Therefore, our doors will open to the public on Thursday, December 10, at 2 p.m.
AI, what's up?
What can you actually do? How do you work? What should I use you for? These questions guide you through this exciting exhibition. Find out which tasks AI can solve in a playful way in the “Test Field.” Learn more about the basics of AI systems in the “Blackbox.” In the “Thinktank,” you can consider the opportunities and risks of using AI. It’s always about you and your opinion! Join in on the big AI opinion survey. AI, it works!
